Few days ago, I showed you how to install and run Java apps and games on your android device as Android doesn’t support installing java (.jar) apps. Today we’re going to discuss about how to run Android (.apk) apps on your personal computer, which is run by Windows or Mac operating system!
How To Install & Run Android Apps On PC Using BlueStacks
- At first you have to download BlueStacks_App_Player on your computer. The beta version of BlueStacks App Player supports Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7, Windows 8, Mac and is available now as a free download. After downloading this, install it on your computer. It will start installing itself and downloading the run time.
- Download or transfer any .apk file on your computer. You also can download any Android app via BlueStacks itself by searching. You may use USB cable or bluetooth, if you want to transfer files from your device to computer. After installing BlueStacks, any Android app (.apk) file will be seen as BlueStacks icon. Try to open your desire Android app. BlueStacks will start installing the .apk file! I use WhatsApp for mine.
- After few seconds new screen will appear with that’s the application home. Now you can run that Android app as same as you run it on your Android mobile. Keyboard or other necessary tools will appear, if it needs!
- It’s done! You have learned how to run or play Android apps on computer just now!
