Starting Wednesday, the new Moto E (Gen 2), the news variant of Motorola’s budget smartphone series, will be released in more than 50 countries in North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia, announced Motorola in a blog post.
“We’re introducing the next generation, packed with more features and functionality to give people around the world even greater access to life’s possibilities – without a hefty price tag,” said the company. The company said, it would also include some software features from its Moto X flagship, and includes Moto Display and Moto Migrate to Moto E (Gen 2)
The new Moto E (Gen 2) runs Android 5.0 Lollipop, and supports single-SIM. Moto E (Gen 2) boasts with a quad-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 SoC (with Adreno 302). It features 1GB of RAM. Here’s the specifications of Motorola Moto E (Gen 2).
